New Surfrider PSA to premiere on ISD
The Surfrider Foundation will be premiering a new public service announcement on International Surfing Day. The PSA features stunning cinematography from acclaimed filmmaker Jack McCoy. The footage, which was pulled from McCoy’s newest film “A Deeper Shade of Blue” was shot entirely underwater in Tahiti, and must be seen to be believed. The action is accompanied by an equally inspiring track by none other than Paul McCartney. The track, “Blue Sway,” is a new song featured on his upcoming re-release of Paul McCartney II.
“To be working with these two legends is amazing,” said Surfrider Foundation Marketing Director Matt McClain. “The spots bring us back to that vibe we had with our original “Cool Clean Water” ads, only now it’s completely on another level.”
The PSA will debut on the Surfrider Foundation site on June 20th, International Surfing Day.
